Call me crazy, but I love going through catalogs and browsing websites of places I can not usually afford. One of those places in Williams Sonoma Home. The design of Williams Sonoma is classic and timeless. It is luxury traditional at its finest. Page after page of the Late Fall 2016 catalogue is filled with beautifully styled rooms. One room in particular caught my eye.
Fabulous room right? Well if you want it item for item you’d better have at least $20,000 saved up. And that’s including only one of the lovely ginger jars. Easily $22K if you got absolutely everything icluding the coffee table books.
I don’t have $22K laying around. Most people do not. So I’ve given you the lower price version of the room below. The ginger jar and the rattan chairs stayed becuase they are priced fairly compared to similar products on the web.
Mohair (the fabric used on the sofa and chair of the WS home spread) tends to be a little more expensive, so I opted for a linen. Plus I felt that it make the room more relaxed. The total price of the room below is about $7300- less than half the cost of the Williams Sonoma version. And that’s with using three of their pieces as well. Enjoy!
